How to play TriPeaks Solitaire

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of TriPeaks Solitaire. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Look at what changes after your first action. Compare the starting position with the example in the Guide. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

Read before acting

Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

Controls

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

A useful example

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Check the stated objective.

Watch out for this

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. A different version of the game may use a different rule. Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal.
